OFFICE HOURS Open 7:00am to 10:00am Closed 10:00am to 12:00noon ( Reception Unattended ) Open 12:00noon to 22:00pm CHECK-IN Arrivals from 12:00noon Standard Rooms sleep a maximum of 3 People including children and babies. Entry to the Hotel when the office is closed ( non reception hours ) is Via the Automatic Check-In facility located outside the front entrance doors. PLEASE NOTE *** Guests who have made reservations via the internet and who are arriving after 22:00pm will be e-mailed a unique Hotel booking number which is to be used on the Kiosk to gain access to the Hotel after hours . Please be aware that this is NOT the Internet Confirmation Number . Guests are kindly requested to contact the Hotel continuously if this e-mail with the booking number has not been received *** A Credit Card is strictly required for any arrivals after 6:00pm, and will be required in the After Hours automatic Check-In machine. Please note Eftpos cannot be used as a method of payment in the automatic machine. Please note if you are not the credit card holder for the booking which has been reserved, then you must contact the hotel prior to your arrival to advise that you will not have the credit card to present to our staff on checkin. Our staff will then ask you to pay a security bond in cash. LOCATION Hotel Formule 1 Melbourne Airport is situated approximately 400 metres from the Melbourne International Airport Terminals . (Behind MacDonald's and the BP Service Station) 20 minutes from Melbourne CBD TRANSPORTATION The Hotel does not operate a shuttle service to and from the Airport . There is however, a shuttle bus operating from the Qantas Domestic Arrivals Hall direct to Spencer Street Station in the CBD . The "Skybus" runs every 15 minutes during the day and the trip takes about 20 minutes . www.skybus.com.au Please see Reception for other transportation options. RESTAURANTS – EATERIES A $7.00 Continental Breakfast is available Daily at the Hotel from 7am to last seating 8:45am Monday to Saturday and from 7.30am to last seating 9:15am Sundays and Public Holidays. Please enquire at Reception about our NEW HOT Breakfast Options which are also available for an additional $4.00 per item. Restaurants and Take Away outlets are located at the Terminals -within a 5 to 6 minute walk . Takeaway can be ordered from brochures located at Reception. Please see Reception for directions. A Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate & Snack Foods & Soft Drink Vending machines are available 24hrs and are located in the Hotel Lobby. ATTRACTIONS Tullamarine Golf Course less than 10 minutes by car (Tee Off from the 18th, but beware of low flying 747's) Sunbury and Local Vineyards - 20 minutes by car Rupertwood Mansion Birthplace of "The Ashes" - Cricket's most famous tradition - 20 minutes by car DFO Shopping complex at Essendon - 10 minutes by car Early check in & late check out are available upon request (subject to availability) A sliding scale surcharge fee will apply.
